Hi, I’m Daniela Tamayo—a photographer based in Baltimore, MD, who’s always ready for an adventure, whether it’s behind the lens or out on the trails. I was born in Colombia but have spent most of my life in Maryland, which has given me the best of two worlds: the vibrant culture of my roots and the charm of my adopted home.

By day, I’m a hospital cost analyst, working to make healthcare more affordable for Maryland patients. But my evenings and weekends? Those are for chasing light, exploring new places, and connecting with amazing people through my photography.

Photography became my creative outlet, a way to balance my structured, analytical work life with something that feels free and inspiring. It’s also helped me step out of my comfort zone and connect with the world around me. Whether I’m mountain biking, running trails, or planning my next shoot, I’m always searching for those little moments of beauty that deserve to be captured.

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is the connection I get to build with my clients. I want every session to feel relaxed, fun, and uniquely you.
